We hold ourselves to the same standards we apply to others. When we make mistakes, we fix them immediately, publicly, and transparently.

Types of Corrections

Minor Corrections

Typos, grammatical errors, or minor factual updates that don't affect the overall rating or conclusion. These are corrected in the text with a note at the bottom indicating the change.

Significant Corrections

Errors that affect the substance of a fact-check but don't change the rating. These receive a prominent correction notice at the top of the article explaining what was wrong and how it was fixed.

Rating Changes

In rare cases where new information or an error requires changing our rating (TRUE, FALSE, MISLEADING), we issue a full correction with:
